Pensión Albegue Mar De Fora

Great place to rest yourbfeet after a long Camino journey. Pool was empty on arrival but the owner was more than happy to fill it for us pilgrims. Very nice private rooms and not far from everything you need.

Beds are comfortable, hostel is quite clean and the host is very friendly. We apritiate all their effort and we will return back. Thank you!

Stayed in the 4 bed room dorm & it was nice! Hot showers, and the staff are so kind and helpful! Free tea at reception and no curfew!

We booked a night and because the services are good, we extended another night because after our Camino de Santiago, a good rest is needed and we feel that there was no better place than Pensión Albegue Mar De Fora. The kitchen is well equipped and the toilets and showers are clean. There is a huge washing area for laundry too and a small pool to just soak and pass time. The room is very well ventilated as the windows are positioned to receive the sea breeze. One thing truly touched me - i came to Fisterra hoping to catch the San Juan Festival. We miscalculated and it was to take place in another village 8km from the town. We only realised an hour before the start of the festival. The inn keeper was so gracious, he offered to take us to the festival and did not accept additional payment. On another occasion, i needed another phone adaptor and the inn keeper passed me his spare. We are very touched by this kindness and warmth.
