Absolutely lovely place with some eclectic charm and super friendly staff. Centrally located and a nice foot pool to soothe sore feet.

Great municipal albergue on the variant from Leon.working kitchen and lovely back yard but the dorms are a little old and not enough toilets and showers. However it filled the brief and I was happy with my stay
Don't be fooled by the exterior of this Albergue. The minute I walked in, I felt at peace. The garden was serene and had so many bird sounds. The bed I slept on was so comfortable, I probably had the best night's sleep since I started the Camino. Shower was ice cold but learnt later that there is a way to get hot water- make sure to ask. The 2 ladies who welcomed me at reception were kind, genuine and sweet. This was a recommendation from a previous Donativo.
Accomodation is a beautiful space and really cozy but has turned into a shameless moneygrab. It's not much money but it feels really sneaky, cheap, and unwelcoming. 8 euros advertised price. Required 1 additional euro for disposable sheets mandatory even if you have your own. And incredibly, 1 euro to turn the electricity on for the stove!!! Which I have never seen before in 9 years of traveling the world. And with 92 beds advertised in 10 rooms, all pilgrims were squeezed in together. The only 8 people checked in at 5pm were all in one 8 person room. We asked if we could use two beds in one of the other 9 rooms instead of having two top bunks in a crowded one and were told no because they would have to clean it the next day. When another guy checked in and they were required to open a second room, we asked if we could move to that one and were told no. We already occupy two beds. If we want to occupy two other beds we will need to pay full price again. We had not unpacked our bags and had to confirm three times that we had not touched the beds and made them unclean before she relented. Really unwelcoming and cheap behavior.
Excellent albergue in Hospital De Órbigo, with very good accommodations and kind people. They have a very nice internal garden and one as the possibility of using their kitchen to cook something.
