Most culturally important place we stayed on 45 day vacation. Incredible home. Have the owner tell you the story.! Converted stable , feeding troughs and smoker intact and wonderful. Basic, clean, treated like family. Double bed, very bad, had trouble sleeping. Very cold at night, need extra blankets. I want to go back and stay again. So awesome.

Great hosts, even though they don't stay there. They bend over backwards to help the peregrinos. I arrived very early in the day and they helped me get in straight away. Silent rooms, Great beams in an old house, carefully restored. Great breakfast, set up overnight. Very happily stay here again

Fantastic hosts Rosa and Rafa. Try sleeping in a restored cabin with ancient foundations. Modern amenities though. Enjoyed our overnight stay w private baths. Sumptuous breakfast for a small fee.

I had planned to stay one night while on the Camino but I got very sick with a virus and ended up staying six nights with Rosa and Rafa. They treated me like family, cooked for me and brought meals from restaurants. Rosa called her personal doctor about my symptoms and got me medications. After I recovered I was able to complete the Camino and I don’t think that would have happened without their care. I am so grateful to them. They truly expressed the spirit of the Camino!

Travel agent made this booking after a hotel at San Juan de Ortega couldn't be found. It's about 7 km after the location. No wifi but I was grateful to have a place to sleep after a 30 km day.
