Another gem of a find on the camino. A lot of beds, both dorms and private rooms. There’s a fireplace just outside the large kitchen and a drystore to air out your wet shoes/boots on rainy days. The fireplace is turned off at 10pm in the evening. Very comfortable place. Their restaurant just a few metres down the street, i would say is the best value for money meal i’ve had, considering what i’ve been paying for a cup of cafe con leche or cola cao + tortillas or bocadillos. €15 for 2 pieces of grilled beef, a sausage, fries, a bowl of veg soup, bread… and a bottle of red wine.
Complexo Xacobeo Albergue & Pensión is one of the best accommodations I've ever experienced. The attention to detail and service were truly outstanding, allowing my wife and I to enjoy a truly comfortable and peaceful stay. The heating system, which was on all night, was also a welcome relief from the travel fatigue. I'm especially grateful for the effort put into handling my reservation error, which was a bit of a surprise. I would definitely come back and stay here again. I pray that God blesses all the staff at Xacobeo. Thank you so much.
Comfortable accommodation with everything you need. The location was excellent and overall, the place had all the essentials. Unfortunately, I experienced multiple bed bug bites during my stay. I had thoroughly checked the bed upon arrival (as I always do), so I suspect the source may have been the blanket. There was a detailed poster in the room with information about bed bugs, which I appreciated, but unfortunately, it seems like the issue wasn’t fully addressed in this case.
Great price, cozy feeling, rooms not too crowded, was very comfortable! Bathrooms for bunk rooms were not the best, but fine for the price and a one night stay . The attached restaurant was amazing, great food and atmosphere, very friendly staff, not to be missed.
