Room is basic, clean, and functional. Friendly hosts. Must be willing to deal with stairs. One of the smallest lifts/elevators we've ever seen.
We stayed in this hostel for one night in July 2025. We liked the bathroom - spacious and clean. Pillows were comfortable long ones. The hostess was amazingly friendly and welcoming. Sure recommendation!
Very friendly staff. Cleaner than I expected having read the reviews. Great location. The elevator starts from the 1st floor, not the ground floor. Our room didn't have any curtains. The blankets were older than my granny's. The work table completely worn down. The beds and pillows okay. Bathroom fully renovated with all necessary toiletries.
The rooms are what you pay for: simple, clean and functional. The windows protect well from any noise if you close them and there are shutters to black out the room. The owners were very helpful in letting us store some bags while we were on a bike tour. As others have said, the wifi doesn’t reach all rooms well and the elevator starts on the 2nd floor (1st floor for Europeans). So you are carrying your suitcase up a narrow staircase for a flight first. Not ideal for heavy luggage or bikes.
Nice hotel , the crew was very helpful. Laundry cost me only 7 Euros , but took almost days. There is an elevator that runs only from the 1st floor. No air conditions , but they are rarely needed in A Coruña. It is allowed to smoke in the rooms , so if this bothers you , you should make sure that you get a non-smoking room.
