Good albergue para peregrinos, pleasant decoration, clean rooms. Nice staff and value for money. Camino de Santiago (14-15 apr - day 11 ) Visited in April 2025

Albergue Fagus was a great place to stay whilst on the Camino Frances. Modern, comfortable & clean and with fantastic food available - a welcome sight as you enter Ages. The owner was very helpful towards me in arranging a taxi.

nice and modern design inside. there is a mosquito net inside the window frame of the sleeping room. newspaper to put into wet shoes. rather early checkin possible. the bunk beds are rather stable. you only feel it somewhat in the lower bed when the person in the upper bed moves. negative things are: - no place to prepare your own breakfast in the early morning in the house - the window in the room cannot be darkened. it's too bright in the room when going to sleep at 9pm in late May. - the Wifi was slow - the friendliness of the male owner could be better - one sheet of paper makes the impression that it's possible to join a group going to the archeological site without a reservation beforehand. but a reservation on the day before is necessary.

Terrible hospitality, the woman is nice but the man is very rude and hostile. I asked to eat the menu outside and he said no, only inside. He wouldn't give me a reason why.

One of my favorite albergues!! Our room had a private bathroom which was a nice treat!
