ICON Duplo Ribeira

Our stay was absolutely wonderful and we would happily return. The location is perfect, right in the city centre in a beautiful area, making it easy to explore Porto. The hotel itself is beautiful, our room was stylish and spotless. Everything felt new and very well maintained. We also appreciated the thoughtful welcome with complimentary bottled water and a delicious pastel de nata. The staff were exceptional. Everyone at the reception was incredibly kind, welcoming and helpful. They allowed us to check in earlier, stored our luggage before and after check-in, showed us around the hotel and even helped us with our bags. Their hospitality really made our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast was excellent, with a great selection of tasty food and we didn’t miss anything. Overall, everything exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend this hotel and would love to come back in the future.

Really impressed by the staff, decor, location, atmosphere. Alfonso was so welcoming and helpful. Its incredibly rare for a hotel to ring housekeeping to see if the room is ready though he did it without us even asking. Soundproofing is great so slept soundly on very comfortable beds. Highly recommend. Bonus to have snacks and refreshments in the lobby, breakfast and a reading room.

Everything about the Icon Duplo Ribeira was fantastic. The staff at the front desk was very welcoming and eager to assist with our stay in Porto. The hotel is very clean and fresh. The rooms are standard size for Europe, which is small; however very cozy. The bed and pillows were both very comfortable. The hotel is centrally located and in the highly desirable Ribeira, which I absolutely recommend, particularly for first time visitors. Despite being in a busy area, the hotel was quiet at night. The breakfast was a bountiful meal with plenty of hot and cold options. Overall, the staff was exceptionally friendly and added to our enjoyable stay. Highly recommend.

The hotel is perfectly located for the main sights of Porto, in a vibrant area near the river. Despite this, our room on the 4th floor was pleasingly quiet. It was very clean, with a comfortable bed, and generally well-appointed, although we did have a minor problem with ill-fitting shades on the bedside lamps. The air conditioning was effective and unobtrusive. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide choice catering for all tastes. All the staff we encountered were first-rate - friendly, professional and extremely helpful. We can thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Great, great hotel! Staff were professional and very helpful; the location of the hotel is fantastic and the room had everything you need for a wonderful stay (the interior of the bathroom I particularly really liked). Glad I came across this hotel :)
