Extremely friendly staff, excellent service and really great breakfast. If you are a bigger group and can’t find accommodation in Palas de Rei, this is a great alternative.

Stayed here on the Camino as it's out of the way on a quiet stop. The room was ok but a bit dated. Not given towels, which was a first for me in a hotel - fortunately we had our own. The manager was very rude with a bad attitude, and she spoke no English (and barely any Spanish) so we had to get by in broken German. With no incentive or indication of dinner plans, we went over the road and spent €100 there instead. We then went to the bar for a drink and we were shoo'd outside as the lady was on the phone. Hardly surprising that it was all dark and only one other couple staying there in a hotel of 12 rooms. Shame really as it could be nice with a bit of an upgrade and the right attitude. An outdoor clothes line wouldn't hurt either. Seems to function mostly as a car park for the yard across the road. Take note of the bad reviews and avoid, if at all possible.
Yes the price is low. The room is clean. The treating your clients as if they are thieves, is extremely low class. I noticed there are no towels in the room. It was explained to me that because people steal them they do not provide unless, you want to buy one. Real low class!
We were very satisfied with the room considering price and quality. It is a vintage old german style a bit and ot has funny smell at the beginning, but hey 40€ is 40€:-). Room is clean and spacious, lady is nice and helped us find a place to keep bicycles. For me biggest disadvantage was noises from the street in the morning.
The rooms are a bit dated but still bright and comfortable - it felt like a cottage. I slept well there and the hosts were very kind. The location is a bit in the middle of two villages so there’s not much to do around there, but within a 6.5 km walk you will find the castle of Pambre.
