Great value for money, especially in Santiago de Compostela where accommodation can quickly become expensive. The hostel is very well located, convenient for pilgrims who are finishing — or still continuing — their Camino. The four-bed rooms are simple but functional, the bathrooms are clean, and there’s even a small lounge area downstairs to relax. It’s also possible to leave your backpack for the following day, which is very practical. Of course, the comfort is basic, but that’s totally expected since it’s a youth hostel. A few small improvements could make the experience even better, such as keeping the soap dispenser filled and adding a full separation between the showers and the toilets. Overall, a simple, affordable option that is suited for pilgrims.

I really enjoyed my stay. The location is amazing and they have all the amenities you need. There are limited bathrooms and showers, but everything was clean and the staff were very friendly.
Great albergue on a great historical location. Could drop our bags after the last kilometers of the camino before heading to the cathedral to get our compostela. The rooms are cosy and there's nice bathrooms and a shared kitchen as well. We spent almost 45min trying to reach the front desk so that we could check in and get the code for the front door ... it doesnt have to be this complicated.
Functional albergue in the center of Santiago. Good price value. The amount of restrooms is not that much, but for most of the guests, it's just one overnight stay. The rooms are only accessible with a card, the beds are okay. Stayed in a four bed dormitory with two other pilgrims and it was a little bit warm. But I slept worse during the last 24 days on the Camino 😉
Within 500 metres of the Cathedral. Lovely ladies at reception. Services are basic, but does have a TV room. Linked to the Hotel next door. Breakfast is not served until 8.00am, so if you are catching an early bus or train it is too late. Highly recommend this albergue.
