Albergue Parroquial de Peregrinos

This albergue is the best i found on the camino so far. The hospitaleros will treat you with love and kindness, you will feel like being part of a big family, at least it is how i felt. I'm really glad i stopped there and if you're searching for a place where to have a lovely time you should go here. Buen Camino!

Though the room was pretty “simple” but the experience there were unique. A local guy led all pilgrims to visit the old chapel in caves. I had the best risotto during the whole Camino journey, it was prepared and cooked by everyone there on that night. I’m not Christian nor Catholic, but I was happy to join the meeting and pray after dinner it made the stay so memorable.

This was such a mixed bag of a stay. The amenities were scarce and had the worst showers on the Camino - but it is a donativo so should I really complain? There were a lot of rules laid out for the pilgrims including mandatory prayers and wake-up curfew - but this was also one of the few religious experiences I got to actually partake on the Camino and somehow slept pretty well... What must be said is that it was a memorable stay, and I don't regret the experience.

Was given this recommendation by the hospitaleros in the Logroño donativo, and it definitely continues the distinct experience of what I needed. Jose Luis has a very welcoming and kind energy and the community dinner and prayers afterwards add to the spirituality of the Camino. Highly recommend for both the experience and atmosphere that is missing in the typical albergues.

Best albergue I stayed in on the Camino. The hospitalero, Jesus, was the most kind and caring toward everyone. All based on donations. Pilgrims help to prepare a communal dinner. You sleep on mattresses on the floor. There is an optional religious service after dinner. I highly recommend attending, regardless of beliefs. It was very moving and impactful as a pilgrim.
