Just spend the extra 2-3 euros more and stay in a real albergue. This is a tiny apartment hosting upwards of 12 people, the mattresses are so thin you can feel the slats through them, the lights are automatic so it sucks if you have to use the bathroom during the night, and there's not enough storage space for everyone's bags and gear. Worst night I had on the Camino by far

Decent place to stay while at the Camino Portugués route to Santiago.
5 stars mainly for the owner. Very helpful and taking her time to ensure our well being at her hostel. Hostel is clean, room temperature and density is just perfect. Felt like staying at someone place. FEELS LIKE HOME!
Just happened upon this hostel. The others in town were full. This place is quiet. All peregrinos on the Portuguese Camino de Santiago. I'm so happy the other places were full and I found this place. And Maria, the proprietor, She's great.
An absolutely great place to stay. Very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the 8 bed room but they also have a double and a 2 single bedroom.
