Just stay here. It’s so worth it. I had the double bed private room, and it was so nice and cozy, and the communal singing around the pilgrim supper was so much fun. A bright spark of Camino magic on this quirky village on the mountain. Somehow this Albergue has both cheery bar vibes and chill zen vibes at the same time. Really enjoyed my stay, meeting a few new pilgrims I sat with at the table, and singing with our host Lena at supper time❤️✨ Genuine people who just really love having a good time with the pilgrims💖

Staying here has been a highlight of my Camino. From the moment we checked in I was struck by the atmosphere. I immediately felt welcomed by Daniel who checked us in. The Pilgrim meal was the best we’ve had so far on the Camino. The entertainment and communal singing was just a beautiful extra touch that just set off the atmosphere for a magical evening. This Albergue a very special atmosphere quite different to what I have an encounter elsewhere and I recommend it to anyone after a bit of Camino magic

Book this place in advance or get to Foncebadón early. Do not miss this place. It is the best albergue I have been to on the (camino) I’ve been to so far on the camino. Fantastic food. wonderful music., friendly hosts, comfortable beds, great facilities. — everything you could want in an albergue.

OMG the food was so good. If a French guy offers you food, say yes! Great veggie burger. Get coffee here. There is no where for hours of walking afterwards.

Kind hosts. Nice yard. Good breakfast you can pay in at check in. Not so many options around but a few but for 5 eur with juice is good price for Camino. The rooms and beds… Just okay… looks like old beds and mattress. Which is fine. Didn’t look dirty but didn’t feel super clean probably because it was a bit too cramped, one or two too many bunk beds in the room… they have cena comunitaria which looked fun and good priced. As a vegetarian I didn’t stay because first dish was legumes and tofu and second dish was legumes and rice. That’s too many legumes for my poor stomach (that’s in me) and can’t substitute or order half menu (I mean you can eat half or less, abut pay the same.) it’s understandable, but I didn’t eat. No big problems here, just not so good at the other places…
