Fabulous accommodation! So pleased we booked here. Super comfortable with very friendly and helpful host. The meals were the best we’ve had on Camino Frances - ‘home made’ dinners made fresh by the host. It was such a delight to have home cooking with a host that genuinely enjoyed hosting pilgrims.

Our Hostess was gracious, kind, generous of both her talents and her good nature. Food was exquisite- spices used correctly. Chicken with Gallacian soup was perfect after a day of walking the Camino. Rooms were very clean and well appointed. I very highly recommend!

Casa de Lucas in Fonfría was a delightful stop on my Camino de Santiago pilgrimage. This rural hotel is extremely cozy, offering a peaceful and quiet environment perfect for rest. Although the restaurant menu isn't extensive, the available options were excellent, including a hearty breakfast that was ideal for starting a day of walking. My spacious room featured a lovely view of the countryside, adding to the charm of my stay. In a village with few accommodations, Casa de Lucas stood out as a superb choice for both comfort and dining without needing to venture far.

The honey and cheese toast is unique and super tasty. A must-try!

After a cold, wet day on the Camino, the family at Casa de Lucas greeted us with warm hospitality, excellent food, and comfortable rooms. One of our best experiences on the Camino. Highly recommend.
