Very well centred albergue with place for a lot of people. Service was fine but not overwhelming. The Lobby/chimney hall is actually fine to get to know other pilgrims and the kitchen is big! I did not like the bed size and the way sinks, toilets and showers are all seperated. The old wood floors are very loud when people move in the evenings. Overall an albergue that is worth to be recommended. Old but stylish and original
Lovely friendly staff with cool soothing fountain outside to soak your feet. Vending machines spacious kitchen and dining area avaulable also a cushioned area to chill inside away from the heat and tables and chairs outside if you prefer the sunshine great place after a long days walk
Wonderful place to stay in the centre of town. Great kitchen and relaxing area with comfy seats. Close to cafes and supermarkets. Lovely old building.
Finally a good night sleep with a cool breeze! It is hot at this time of year and the cross breeze was great. The bed was comfortable. Yes, people were a bit noisy in the morning but that is a usual here on the Camino. The place was clean and the shower was hot! Thank you for the hospitality! Many Blessings and Buen Camino!
Get here early enough and you get your own bed. No bunk! Friendly at reception, nice indoor seating area for evening chat and plenty of facilities for washing, showering etc. No bar but there is a machine which dispenses beer and as we're in Astorga, there's plenty of bars and restaurants around. No evening meal either and out by 8am.
