This hostel is perfect in my opinion. Right in the middle of the center of town near the cathedral, great food in the bar downstairs, you can come and go as you please (unlike the albergues) and the beds are comfortable and each have their own outlet and light. If you’re doing the Camino I highly recommend staying here 2 nights and taking a rest day in Burgos

am confused why this place only has 3.6 stars. the checkin was quick and thorough, our bag we had sent in advance was brought right to us on arrival without us asking, theres an ELEVATOR, the room and blanket/TWO sheets/pillowcase all are very clean and smell nice. everyone (even top bunks) gets their own light and plug outlet. the bathrooms are like hotel bathrooms. full, private/locked, modern, best heat/water pressure ive had in 12 hostels so far. +theres soap in the showers on my floor, theres 1 bathroom in the shared bunk bed room and 1 additional bathroom in the hallway (towels are 2 euro to rent) kitchen was very well stocked- all the pots/pans/utensils etc u could want and the stove/microwave worked great. just a bit low on spices i saw some negative reviews about noise- im on 2nd floor and dont hear a thing. maybe 1st floor might be different story. location wise tho A+ ! literally got to the catedral de burgos in 2 min (SO amazing, please go see it) and the street this hostel is on is super cute :) also Tora Market nearby sells korean ramen/asian snacks

Central to all you will need in Burgos along with the best place to stay on your walking trip. The Pub is wonderful. The nearest to a British pub in Spain that I have drunk in. That is a huge compliment by the way! There are a number of draught beers, in very good condition, along with an excellent range of bottled beers. Very friendly and welcoming for all - locals, walkers and tourists alike - families, groups, solos. A few big screens for sport, if one wants to watch. A rugby theme to the interior. I'll be back for the beer as well as the walking. Less than 4€ for a pinta. Cheers!

Extremely rude receptionist. Very noisy at night. Hot and stuffy rooms. Left to go to the pilgrim hostel where I felt a lot more welcome.
