Had a small but very clean room with a comfortable bed in a quiet place for a good nights sleep. Judit was very pleasant and helpful at the front desk even though I arrived early. The Camino passes right by the front door.
My stay at Hotel Jacobeo in Burgos was a pleasant part of my Camino de Santiago journey. Excellent interior at dining room, classy and understated. Business room was very small but had hot water in the shower and the door locked twice. Staff was very nice and helpful. Could use a minor makeover but for a quick stay or somewhere that's not a municipal for a night on the Camino, it'll do.
This is the worst hotel I've ever been in. How can you not do minimal wall insulation? It is impossible to sleep simply: you hear perfectly how someone is brushing their teeth, someone is talking, someone is coughing all night, and in the morning the cleaners are screaming at the top of their lungs. Thanks to the hotel for spoiling our two night stay in Burgos. If you want to spoil your trip to Burgos, you can choose this hotel.
I paid 110 euros for a 10m2 underground bedroom with no windows!...just an opening in the wall leading straight to the dinning room where from 8am you're awaked by the people having breakfast. Noisy corridor. Its unacceptable What a shame!
