Amazing place to stay at!! It's well located, clean, the breakfast is lovely and the people that work here make you feel like home. My 2 dogs came with me, they bring beds, bowls and treats for them 🥰
Gorgeous hotel, very striking. Too much air freshener sprayed in the lobbeh though really unpleasant for anyone but especially with asthma and allergies it's very intense the scent. The beds as always in NH are comfy and spacious and just the best. The layout of the room was super cool but it certainly needs updating. The bathroom smelt strongly of urine I think due to the material of the toilet seats. (It was the same in the female bathroom downstairs in the lobby too) The buffet breakfast was AMAZING and the service even better. The prices in the hotel lobby are outrageous, especially so when you're an NH member. Honestly staggering the cost of a tea and Gin and tonic. Love NH and loved it here overall
Had a lovely stay at this hotel, extremely high quality premises. Great rooms and very knowledgeable reception staff. Well located just outside the entrance to the old city. Low cost street parking is located nearby.
Lovely hotel, friendly and welcoming staff. Fantastic location and dog friendly. Excellent meal, and just across the road from the river and close to several places of interest. Wish we were here for longer
Great location. Beautiful building (500 year old convent). Parking under the hotel for €20. We love NH hotels. Wonderful check in with fabulous reception staff. So why 2 stars? When we left the two women on reception were dreadful, a confusion (on the part of the hotel) made us frustrated and embarrassed. It’s funny how a hotel that is practically perfect becomes two stars because of two very bad employees - Tuesday 2nd July 2024 at around 10.15 if anyone at NH chooses to look into this. If you have read this far and are considering this hotel, maybe base your decision on the reply to this review? (PS it is quite the most beautiful wedding venue so ask if they have weddings before you book as noise could be a nightmare)
