Didn't know why Google is saying it's temporarily closed we stayed there last night. Owners are very friendly despite language differences, (their English is as basic as my Spanish) and accommodating when there was the problem of a leak in our teepee. The water is hot and bathrooms are clean. The paella was delicious and dinner included wine. I hope their problems can be worked out so that Indian Way can become an iconic stable for pilgrims along the Camino.
I stayed there for a night. The host was friendly, the dinner was delicious, and the place itself is very unique - you won’t find a similar albergue on the Camino. The bed was €13 and dinner was €10. Google says it’s temporary closed, but you could try to contact them on WhatsApp. Be aware that the tepees have no heating, so it can be extremely cold during the night. The one heavy blanket they provide is not enough; you should have at least your sleeping bag.
Google has this albergue as temporarily closed but it is open, as a donativo. I reserved using what’s app. We are 8 peregrinos. We all loved this place. We stayed on 8 September. Antonio the owner has made it with a lot of love. The food is also very good. The bathroom showers are very good too.
By far the best and most interesting albergue I have had the pleasure of staying at. The staff is friendly and the location it beautiful. Due to changes in zoning there is a possibility may get shut down. would be a shame if this happened.
Such a cool and unique place along the Camino! The facilities were great and the owners make sure you have plenty of blankets should you need! The dinner was delicious and to end things off, there was a special local drink prepared at the end of the evening with a very interesting back story (I won’t give anything away). Definitely stop by, such a memorable place and experience not to be missed!
