I grew up in the area and needed a centrally-located place to stay for a 10 day visit from the US in August 2023. This apartament met my needs perfectly! COMMUNICATION - We communicated via WhatsApp. The host was nothing but responsive, attentive, accommodating, professional and prompt. LOCATION - In a pedestrian zone but very accessible from the main thoroughfare. - A 350 meter walk along flat terrain from the bus depot where there is plenty of parking (provided there isn't a festival underway). - Steps from the open-air Thursday Market at the Plaza de los Fueros and Plaza de Santiago that has been held weekly since the medieval times. - Near cafes, restaurants, shops, and the grocery store. - My kids particularly enjoyed the proximity to the ice cream parlor and candy store across the plaza! - Garbage collection is also ridiculously close, with public options for disposal of all manner of recyclables. SPECIAL FESTIVAL CONSIDERATIONS Be cognizant of your dates! During the festival, Estella transforms from a quaint peaceful town to party central, leading to a potentially much different experience than anticipated if you were unaware that this apartment is in THE MIDDLE OF ALL THE ACTION! If you want to experience the festival like a local and also be able to reach everywhere on foot, this is very much the place to be, just keep in mind that during the festival: - The main road (Paseo de la Inmaculada) gets shut down, traffic patterns switch and parking becomes scarce. - The running of the bulls happens along the Calle Mayor, just down the street! It goes by quick, but given that the Calle Mayor gets blocked off for the event, you will be cut off from the rest of the city until the bulls get to the bull ring. If you opt out of viewing the race, you can still hear the cow bells clanging as the animals run by, that's how close it is! - The parades with the Gigantes and Cabezudos go past the balcony sometimes. It's breathtaking. - Free nightly concerts are held in the adjacent Plaza - Nightlife spills into daybreak. That scene starts the next block over. - Carnival rides get set up at the bus depot parking lot. TIPS: - There is no elevator, so it is not accessible by wheelchair. - There is no air conditioning, but this is Europe, so that is standard. Of note, our stay coincided with one of the hottest days of the year and we were actually quite comfortable — the exposed stone walls in the apartment are in fact a shared wall with the San Juan church, sooo cool (literally and figuratively)! It also helps if you make effective use of the windows by closing the shutters by day and opening the windows by night to let in the refreshing cross-breeze, and turning the ceiling fan in the big room on the highest setting. - Exterior noise: I purposely scheduled my trip for the local festival, knowing full well that there would be lively music on the streets at all hours of the day AND night for a week straight. The sound percolated through the apartment, but I came prepared with ear plugs and they did the trick. We slept soundly amid the hullabaloo. - In order to operate the washer, you need to make sure it clicks LOUDLY when shutting the door. If the washer won't start, try pushing the door shut just a bit harder until you hear that click and that should do the trick. - This is a safe area, but if you are concerned about sleeping with the windows open, please note that these are tilt & turn windows. Basically, there are 2 ways to open them depending on how far you turn the handle. Turn the handle all the way up and the windows tilt inwards so you're able to ventilate the place without the windows being flung wide open all night long. - The water pressure in the shower was DIVINE, even with the ECO setting activated. The water temperature was easy to modulate and it gets as hot as you'd like (which I appreciate as a person who enjoys scalding hot showers). I would definitely stay here again. In fact, my children have asked if this could be our home base each time we come to visit, and I sure hope it's available next time!

Nice, modern, new, comfortable, clean and white sheets and towels, you feel like you are in a hotel but with the advantages of an apartment. The person who served us was very kind and even allowed us to come in a little later than expected, thanks to which we were able to stop on the way to eat in peace.

I love this place, both for location and design, comfort, location... and I want to highlight the kindness of the contact person (Álvaro) for his good treatment and kindness in the procedures. We stayed there on one occasion and I booked a later one. Due to circumstances I had to cancel the second reservation and their response was very pleasant. A very strong greeting to him.
