Automated check doesn't work very well. The location is ok, but the rooms are just concrete boxes and shower leaks all over the bathroom. Not worth the hassle of check in vs going to another albergue/hostel. For the price a laundry area is expected, but none is present or located nearby. If you are a pilgrim, I don't recommend Estella Rooms.
Great place to spend a quiet night along the camino. Kiosk check in was incredibly easy thanks to the great emailed instructions.
I stayed here while walking the Camino. It was nice to have a private room. The room was very clean and comforatble. The bathroom was super clean. I had a nive view onto the church and the square. A great location! It is on the other side of the river from the main square, but as a result it is quiet. There are restaurants in the immediate area. Since it is right on the Camino, you just have to turn right when you exit this hotel and keep on walking. I had a problem using the automatic check-in. I am not a fan of them, but I was able to phone in for support right from the check-in terminal.
Great location and nice modern rooms but impractical/unacceptable on a few levels - self check in had a long line of tired, frustrated pilgrims, the shower leaked & flooded the toilet area, there was little to no sound proofing, and our room was full of black hairs - including in the beds 😷
I suggest looking for another place to stay. Although the room was very clean and the location was great, the "self check-in" process was slow and frustrating, and nobody seems to be working at the hostel to offer help.
