Very good price for a room until you arrive in front of the building. The best word is "neglected". Everywhere dust and dirt, cracks on the walls, and the paint comes down. This building will fall apart, but don't worry, because at least if you have a tesla ( or any electric car) you can charge it front of the building. 2 positivum : 1. The room is big 2.the bunk bed is comfy. This is it. If you need an emergency room or you would like to that the owner can buy a cyber truck a few years later, I can recommend. Any other case --> ❌️ Low effort = Low rating
We went in low season and the property was nearly empty. The bathroom was very clean, and so were linen and towels. The room was not exceptionally clean but acceptable. Overall, the value for money is very good. One thing that can be improved is the automated reservation/check in process. We received 5 to 7 automated emails with fragmented information and the final instructions on how to access the room were not so easy to get.
May 7, 2024 The facilities in 11 is in very bad shape and disrepair. The beds frames in 11A are falling apart. We had to take the mattress off of the bed frames and put them on the floor. The bathroom has a disconnect toilet seat and it leaks. The vanity drawers are broken and the washroom sink tap is malfunctioning. Do not stay there! Very disappointed!
I first booked the place, then read reviews and was terrified. I was thinking I would end up in a semi-abandoned bed bugs infested place. In reality it looked like someone's summer house - a bit shabby, run down, but kinda cozy and peaceful. No bed bugs experienced, and they get a full kitchen, nice bathroom, patio and a garden. And lovely cats! If you are used to fancy hotels, it's definitely not your place. But for Camino-goers, who usually stay in shared bedrooms, this is a great place to stay! A room for yourself almost for a price of a hostel bed!
Well, it is a work in progress. The bathroom in our double was easily the highlight. Do yourself a favor and close eyes until you are in your room. Laundry service was solid. No food available. Beds a bit rickety. Didn't see bed bugs....that's a positive right? 1 km to any services in town. Best cafe closes at 7 pm so be advised to eat early by Spanish times.
