We stayed May 31, 2024 and were sadly disappointed. The showerhead was broken as there was no mount for it. When showering the hand held wand was all that was available and had to be held with one hand while showering with the other. The hair dryer was broken. The shower stall let water out onto the bathroom floor so they had a disgusting mop and bucket in the bathroom. They advertise a kitchen but refuse to let people us the stove saying it's "broken" but there's evidence someone has been using it to cook (probably the people who work there). The microwaves are tiny and completely underpowered. The outdoor laundry wash sinks are the worst I've seen in Spain. They are caked in filth, as is it's been months since they where cleaned. There is a refrigerator but the room it is in is locked a 9pm and not opened until 9am, making it useless if you plan on departing early. Finally, they advertise coffee and tea in the morning but we found none before our departure. What we did find was loud people coming in at 4:30am after a night of drinking and waking us up. My advice? If you have other options stay elsewhere.

Good location and the room itself was fine. I came on a Saturday and the whole place seemed to be full of big groups of drunk Spanish people. They woke me up a few times in the night with noise. If, like me, you're a pilgrim looking for a restful night, make sure you don't come on a Saturday night or pack some good ear plugs.

Owner takes advantage of pilgrims. We had our bags sent here as we had foot blisters but had a change of plans so she charged us €5 to store our bag. It isn’t uncommon that pilgrims change Albergues to be with friends they’ve met. Charging extra is unacceptable and not im the sprit of the Camino. Do not spend your money here.

I've stayed in hostels all over the world. This was the nicest accommodation. It opened just 4 months before our stay in late 2014. The interior is completely new. It is tasteful, comfortable, and clean. The staff was beyond kind. There had been a snowstorm and everyone had cancelled their rooms, except us. They stayed open for us, welcomed us in the evening and provided a modest breakfast in the morning. The location is perfect, just a minute walk from the Plaza Mayor. I would highly recommend this hostel and I hope I can stay here again someday.

Well located within the old city near the Plaza Major, clean and efficient, it has a nice communal kitchen and TVs on all floors on the lounging areas. Bathrooms are top rated. The only noticeable downside is that it can get pretty warm in the rooms due to poor air circulation.
