Rooms are very basic but Mr Alfonso goes out of his way to accommodate all requests. Better than hotel concierge service!
Stay far away from this hostel if you are a pilgrim on the Camino. It’s a regular city hostel with mostly tourists who do not care at all about the quiet times from 10pm to 8am. When I stayed there with friends, people started eating chips for two hours at 10pm, or singing on the phone. You will not get any good sleep as a pilgrim here!
Stayed two night here. 11 euros per night. Very relaxing & spacious bunker bed with side curtains. Feel like in private bed. Owner is busy man keeping hostel clean and tidy. Wash & dry done by owner 3 euros each then quietly place ur laundries by ur bed if you sleep. I also really liked nice jazz music in the lounge during daytime having coffee :)
So, first of all they are providing hostel service for low price and that really appreciable. This hostel is basically for backpackers but others can stay too. There are around 20 bunk beds so in total 40 beds available in a big room. Bathroom are clean and nice. Beds were ok, Curtains were there so that you can have some privacy. Location 7/10 Beds 8/10 Privacy 9/10 Staff 10/10 Check-in/Check-out 10/10
Very helpful and friendly owner. Beds are draped and separated enough to feel comfortable during COVID. Very clean and maintained. Laundry use available. I’ve been in this part of town for extended periods before and find it acceptable. It is, however, a 10 min walk to the Cathedral area but the price reflects this. Only complaint was half a dozen drunk dudes woke up the entire dorm at 2am and were obnoxious for at least an hour.
