I was just another pilgrim on my way to Santiago when I decided to stop for the night in León. I didn´t call to make a reservation, I just walked in and asked for a room. All I needed at the time was a place to rest and recover from the arduous walk that day. I must have been very comfortable because I slept like a log. The following morning, after a long shower I had breakfast in the bar, ordered a sandwich for the road and left soon after. What can I say about the place, for my needs it was perfect. The room was clean and tidy upon my arrival and although I only had time to have breakfast before setting off again, I was left with the desire to stay on for lunch just to get a taste of some of the home cooking they were offering as part of their daily menu. I certainly have nothing to complain about, in any case, quite the opposite. Most definitely good value for money for someone on a tight budget like myself. If I ever return to León again I know where I can find a warm, friendly and honest welcome.

My wife and I were originally planning to stay in León for four days. Our stay at this hostel convinced us to stay four times longer than originally planned. Susana's kindness and responsiveness to each of our requests was the best thing that could have happened to us. Her husband, Mr. Ángel, a great conversationalist and knowledgeable on many topics, made us happy every time we sat down to talk. The room and bathroom were impeccable. We felt at home, and every time we are in León, it will be a pleasure to stay there. For this reason and many other reasons, it is a pleasure to recommend them to anyone who wishes to take my recommendation into account for their stay in León. The owner's service is very good and friendly, just as she went out of her way to serve us. The food is very good. The location is very central. Everything is clean and tidy.
My husband and I stayed at the hostel during our vacation until today, and we are leaving very happy with the hospitality of Mrs. Susana, her mother, and Mr. Ángel, who made us feel right at home. The rooms were clean, and when we return to León, we will definitely stay here again.
