The girl at the reception seemed a little abrupt to me, coming from Galicia I find this character difficult. The very simple room with little space. Regular hygiene. Located in the humid neighborhood, where all the action is. On the one hand it is in the center, close to all the places to visit, but on the other hand there are crowds until dawn and this can be annoying at bedtime. It all depends on the environment you are looking for.
Renovated house converted into a hostel. Perfect location, very central, practically next to the cathedral in that sense 10/10. Comfortable bed, air conditioning, TV and mini bar. Details to note that leave something to talk about, first the bathroom has a bad musty smell, very fair cleaning, two towels for two people without hand towels, without rugs to dry my feet, apparently I will dry my face, body , the cxxlo and the feet with the same towel. It doesn't have a paper holder, they leave it on top of the toilet just as there is nowhere to hang clothes. Regular price/quality ratio. It seems expensive to pay €60 per night for what you offer.
Hostel in the center of León, in Húmedo, we were in a room that has 3 beds and 1 double bunk bed. All renovated with air conditioning and double glazed windows that perfectly isolate street noise, the new bathroom and the very comfortable beds with high quality sheets. And an XXL television. The only bad thing is that the reception is in another hotel and there is no elevator. Better than many 3 star hotels.
First of all IT IS NOT A HOSTEL. I would say that it is a large apartment in which they have made several rooms. Small room with just enough cleanliness overlooking a patio full of pigeons. It is a first without an elevator, to take into account if you go with a baby stroller as was our case and of which no one warned us. We asked for a crib and they didn't give us one. Check in must be done at a nearby hostel because as I said before the supposed "hostel" is a flat and does not have a reception. Place to spend a night and a miracle. The attention at reception could also be very improved.
Very central and clean....great to spend a few days and get to know León. It has a but... when sleeping if you need silence you won't have it
