Nice hotel in centre. Great location. Very modern but could do with revamping the communal areas. Bedroom had touch screen lighting etc which proved difficult! Needed a light to see what we were switching on/off. Bathroom flooded every time we had a shower as it was a walk in shower, so constant puddle in bathroom. A lot of style but no substance. View was shocking; looking out into 2 other bedroom windows/interior courtyard. Would I stay here again? Probably but could do better…
Comfortable, central stay with a wonderful spa. Modern, convenient, and comfortable. The staff was a little cold, but could be cultural differences. Great place to stay when recovering from jet lag. Being able to reserve the spa privately for an hour helped get us ready for an activity filled 10-day trip. Within a 5-10min walk of all the sites in Leon.
Room is ok and looks great but the lighting control needs a 5 page book to understand. Why the air-conditioning automatically switches off but never comes back on again is a total mystery. Why make these things so complicated.? Bed was ok, but need better pillows, a little firmer.
Very chic hotel. Good facilities but I found the black gloss floors throughout and the constant low light very unsettling. Over complicated electronic touchpad controls for everything in the room - lights, blinds, window etc. frustrating work it all out for a one night stay. Rain shower fitting in bathroom was too high up and inadequate water pressure made for disappointing shower. Breakfast re-stocking if items and re-laying of tables was slow.
Appalling Experience at My Palace León – Reservation Ignored and Disrespectful Treatment I had a confirmed reservation through the My Palace León official website, yet when I arrived on the day of check-in — during a power outage affecting the region — I was flatly denied my room. The front desk supervisor, Ana Luisa, was dismissive and rude. She told me that the emergency they were experiencing was more important than my situation, showing no regard for the fact that I had a valid booking and no other accommodation arranged. To make matters worse, I witnessed a Korean family being given a room right in front of me, moments after I was told there were no rooms available. This was not only frustrating but deeply insulting. No assistance, alternatives, or even a sincere apology were offered. My experience at My Palace León was one of the worst I’ve had with any hotel. The lack of professionalism, empathy, and basic customer service was shocking. I strongly advise future travelers to think twice before booking here — reliability and respect are clearly not guaranteed.
