The hotel is well situated but somehow you can't help thinking they have missed something. No bar, dinner starts at 20:30, food and drinks were ok but expensive and no a vegetable on any menu option. OK enough but not exceptional
Even though the theme is classic, the decoration could have a lot more personality... One long pillow for a double bed is also weird. How am I supposed to share a giant pillow with someone else? Also, a hotel without a bar for guests to drink, especially when they have live music nights sounds a little ... ridiculous? They could make a lot of money from people stopping by for a drink and tapas while listening to music...
Fantastic hotel in a great location. We stayed in a named room, Agosto, which was wonderful. Huge comfortable bed and very nice bathroom. The restaurant was very good and hotel staff very helpful. The car park is adjacent to the main entrance just around the corner. To access with a car you need to drive around the front of the Basilica and head left this takes you around towards the hotel and parking. Excellent value and would definitely recommend.
Very beautiful hotel, with history, it has that old and rustic touch of its hallways with modern rooms, I loved it!!
