We arrived yesterday and guess what? NO HOT WATER! Today - still NOT HOT WATER ( it is 8.22 p.m.), although the reception said that they have taken care of the problem! No hair dryer in the room. If you ask for one, they will charge you 3 euro per night. On top of that - one cannot take a normal shower even with cold water. Why? The water is running for about 30 seconds and then stops! So, every 30 seconds you have to push a button, in order to have a shower! Terrible experience so far! The coffee from the machine costs 1 euro - no good! The only good thing about this place is the location.
A beautiful place to stay. The rooms are spaciousness, clean and we had a bath on siit in the dorm. If you arrive late you are able to check in on the reservation counter and it provides you with the key and information what room your in. Its a very easy and guided check in system. The staff were so nice and helpful, always friendly. Washing machine takes 4€ lasts about 25 minutes and drying 3€ for around 20 minutes. Very modern machines. They provide a towel and a sheet or additional blanket to use included in the price. All in all: the location and place is worth trying and modern, the city close and in the night quiet. I would recommend and come back again some day. Buen Camino!👣
Best everything. Nice front desk huge lobby. Quiet central location. Nice 4-bed room with the bathroom. Key card access. All new.
The location is good, as it’s close to the busy area but not necessarily good, if you are a pilgrim. I don’t know how many pilgrims stay here but I stayed here for 2 nights, both are horrible. Maybe try to avoid it during weekend (I stayed Friday and Saturday). Friday night, someone hit the fire alarm (maybe drunk/wasted enough) and it ran around 3AM, and couldn’t find anyone to turn it off. It’s too much for a pilgrim walking all the way here just want a good sleep. Second night, there’re some celebration in the town, this part of the city is not necessarily the busiest but you could hear the noise all through the night, and really all night long. Even door of the balcony is close and curtain off, the noise is insane. Come on, not friendly for the pilgrims who need to restart the next morning. If you are pilgrim, I don’t recommend at all. The most expensive bed (€20 for 8-ppl room bunk, and €22 for 6-ppl female bunk) I had so far but the worst experience.
I am staying somewhere else and I wanted to have a look, but the man at the desk said I had to have a reservation. How do I know if I want to stay? Well I don't want to stay with rude and unfriendly staff. I used to own a hostel for 20 years. They need a lesson in hospitality.
