Hostel Plaza Catedral

Very good location. Stayed in private 3 bed room with a view of the church. Shared bathroom super clean. Nice and quiet inside the hostel and friendly people. Also had newspaper for our wet boots! Would stay here again

The service was great, the dorm I was assigned to in the basement was not great. Even so I had a good night sleep thanks to my eye mask and ear plugs. The beds were comfortable though.

They don't seem to want customers. Trying to reserve a bed at 5pm was already too late for them. Even though we were in a chat at 4:59, the person in charge didn't bother and stopped replying after 5pm. Also, I was asked to share credit card details via WhatsApp, which is not secure, the hostel should know this. When I was asking for a secure website to send the details, answer was "I'm sorry, you have to look for another option". Reading through some reviews, I find it also amazing how the owner is always justifying him/herself. In the hospitality industry, you better take feedback seriously and improve, and not just bark back at your customers. I'm already looking forward to the reply to this review :-)

Excellent location, clean, comfortable, inexpensive. It was exactly what I needed for a quick stint through Pamplona. The owner was also very kind and helpful, gave good recommendations of what to see and do in the little time I had. Would return.

Next to the cathedral, this is a hikers pilgrims favourite. The facilities are great but the dormitory gets easily cluttered with too many people and luggage. Also expect heavy snorers and backpacks fumbling all night long.
