Wonderful! We opened the door to our room and immediately thought “We’re really glad we chose to stay here!” Large rooms, modern decor, spotlessly clean, with a small kitchen area (with microwave and small but not tiny fridge). Effective, easy-to-use air conditioning. Staff were all friendly, welcoming and helpful. Great location five minutes walk from the centre of the old town and only slightly further from the bus station (best route is to go left onto Av. de Ejército, walk along to the crossing in front of the entrance to the Citadel, cross the road and continue for two blocks. Ignore Google’s suggestions!) The attached restaurant (operates by a different name but run by the hotel staff!) offers a €12 breakfast buffet; the food is good quality (although the orange juice isn’t fresh pressed) but the buffet doesn’t offer a very large choice. However, if you’re not bothered about a huge breakfast you can also pay by the item - the staff explained this to us, and as a result we halved our breakfast bill - not really a big deal, but it indicates the considerate service. Possibly worth knowing is that the streets outside the hotel - especially C. San Gregorio - can remain VERY noisy well into the early hours. The double glazing virtually eliminates the noise, but if you prefer to have a window open at night then avoid the rooms on that side of the hotel.
Wonderful hotel! Location is the best. Walking distance from all points of interest. Spotless clean rooms and smiling receptionists. All in very reasonable price. Not a single negative!
This was an excellent hotel—location is right in the Old City, walkable to all the historic sites, plenty of great restaurants nearby, the room is very big with a great bathroom, very functional, the staff is very helpful, and the breakfast is amazing, plentiful and filling. The biggest shout out and thank you to Gilvania, who went out of the way to walk us to the nearest lavanderia and then gave me several cups of hot tea after the restaurant had already closed. She was always asking if we needed anything more and we truly appreciated her for her willingness to help with a very positive attitude.
On the edge of the old town in a great location. Very welcoming staff. Modern, clean, well designed and excellent value for money. Even though we were on a busy street, with the triple glazing we heard nothing when we closed the french windows. Highly recommended.
Great value for this wonderful location. Lots of options for pintxos and close to historic sites. Perfect location for visiting and exploring.
