Ok for quick stay and vacate Don't take room which is facing roadside. The reason is street lights whole night disturb your sleep I m wondering why in many hotels in spain don't hve mat while coming inside the room
Simple 1 star hotel, but very clean. Walk to the beach in minutes. Restaurants and shopping very near. A small common area kitchen is available with free coffee and tea, toast and cereal. Make your own. Host was very kind and helpful, speaks English. Stored my bags after check out for a few hours.
Superb location close to both the old town, the beach and the shopping district - but still in a quiet street. Loved the themed rooms - colorful and very comfortable. Fantastic host - very welcoming and helpful with tips for the town, places to see and where to eat and drink. She definitely made our stay! She also speaks perfect english so don't hesitate to give her a call. (English is not so common in Gijon yet...) We will return!
The location is a 10/10. There's so many things in the 5-minute-walk vicinity and so I didn't need a car, a taxi or even a bicycle. Andrea, who runs the place, is a kind person who speaks English well and will patiently answer all your questions. The rooms themselves have everything I needed: A closet, a fairly spacious bathroom, a small desk and a chair to use my laptop and a comfy bed :) I still can't believe how low the price is, compared to what I got.
Very friendly laid back staff, nice rooms for a cheap price and great location. The front desk woman also speaks English.
