3 / 5 Nice guy who runs the place. There is no street parking and the parking garage is 18 euro per day which made this accommodation very expensive. Also, there is no lift so we had to drag luggage up three flights of tight stairs. Top location.
5 / 5 Great location, clean, and they worked with me to accommodate a very late arrival.
5 / 5 A very pleasant and excellent stay at this accommodation.
Cozy room, well-equipped and very clean.
Comfortable bed and a decent bathroom.
Great location.
I would choose it again 👍.
2 / 5 Not recommended at all, despite the room being very nice and the location being good. We stayed in room 1.
The soundproofing is nonexistent, so even though it's not on a very busy street, you can hear constant murmurs from people on nearby terraces, the garbage truck, motorcycles, people just walking by chatting... and this was on a Sunday after Gijón's big festival.
To top it all off, when we arrived, there was a notice that one of the tiles on the stairs (the accommodation doesn't have an elevator) was broken. Well, they started fixing it at 9:00 AM with a hammer, even though the tile was right next to our room and the owner knew there was a 3-year-old child in the room. Very inconsiderate.
In short, we will not return and we do not recommend this accommodation.
5 / 5 It was definitely a great choice! A very well-located, very central establishment. But above all, very clean, with attention to every detail, and very charming thanks to the somewhat rustic decor. Luis is delightful and very attentive from the day we booked. He contacted me immediately and provided all the information I requested, plus any extra details he was happy to share. We will definitely be back. It's true that it's in an area with bars and restaurants, so you might hear some noise at night, but it's not unbearable. You can always request a room facing the opposite direction, if one is available. It was a pleasant surprise and a wonderful stay. Highly recommended.
