This room is outstanding!! The room has space to walk around. The bed is comfortable. The balcony was spacious!! The location is outstanding to the center of everything. My only drawbacks are the cumbersome pre-check in because nobody is here. Also, you have to have cell service to access the street door and front door. Finally, the street noise is a lot all day and all night. Between three cars and the people you can’t leave the door open. They have a ceiling fan which is great but you can still hear the noise.

Decent, budget hotel accommodation in a central location.

This is a nice family run hostel that was perfect for me. It's location is excellent, in the old town, close to everything. I arrived early as I was walking the Camino and they allowed me to check in early, the owner is very nice and helpful. Good room, comfortable bed and a great shower. Highly recommended.

We've been road-tripping through multiple cities across central northern Spain for two weeks, and hands down, this hotel has been the bets by far. From the service to the location and especially our host, Savi, everything exceeded our expectations. Savi's super friendly, helpful, and attentive. If we ever find ourselves back in Gijon, this will definitely be our go-to spot. 😉

If it is available for a stay while you are in Gijon I highly recommend staying here. This hostel is all on one floor and has a location that can´t be beat for the money. You are immediately welcomed by a bright and airy reception area followed by the charming hostel host who quickly attended to our arrival and answered all of our questions. Unfortunately due to a bit of misinformation given by the host we did not eat the famed cachopo from the area that evening. The accommodation is fantastic and extremely comfortable. It was cozy and very well designed with very well appointed details like gold trim around the outlets in the bathroom. The angle of the shower head was a bit awkward but the newly remodelled bathroom was superior in quality and taste. earplugs are left for you on the night table but are not required despite its location in the center of town. I highly recommend this quint little gem in the city center.
