Great little hotel in the center of the old part of the town, great location. The high rating is certainly correct. We spent just a single night here and would stay longer if we could. The room is a very good size and the bathroom is modern and clean. It was very quiet and the bed comfortable. Even though the building looks old in keeping with the surrounding buildings, the interior has been completely renovated. It is clean and very functional. We are cycle touring and needed a safe place to store our bikes. We received a message before arrival informing us that there was a place in the lobby for the bikes. It worked well and the bikes had a great space. A extra star for that. There is a common area with sofas, free tea and coffee, and a fridge available for all. That is much appreciated. The check-in was done through an online process and we received a code to access the building and to pick up the room keys. All worked well.

Located in the heart of the old town, this charming hotel impressed us not only with its perfect location but also with its warm and welcoming atmosphere. The friendly staff made us feel right at home. Our room was spotlessly cleaned every day, which gave us great peace of mind in terms of hygiene. Fresh fruit, cake, and tea were offered daily as a lovely complimentary treat. On hot days, cold water was always available in the fridge — a thoughtful and much-appreciated detail. For breakfast and meals, we enjoyed discovering the many friendly and diverse local spots nearby, recommended by the hotel. After such a pleasant experience, Hotel Myro has definitely become our go-to place in Gijón. We’ll gladly come back again!

Excellent relatively new but well designed Hotel with good layout in heart of Old Town. Service is great with help on parking car in adjoining secure private, underground car park (10€). Room was spatious and new as was bathroom. Bed and pillows were comfy. You can help yourself to tea/coffee/tea downstairs. They use an air freshener in communal areas which is too strong for me. It's in a relatively quiet area despite it's location near the late night bars. Overall it's a super option for exploring the best parts of Gijón which is a friendly and safe city. The price quality ratio is excellent. A great option too for the discerning pilgrim.

I stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights. They allowed me to check in at 1pm - really good, especially that normal hotel check-in is at 2pm. Everyone is super friendly and accommodating. They gave me a spacious room. It has a smart TV that is comnected to the wifi. The bathroom was clean. You get some free shampoo and bar soap. At first I thought it wasn't accessible, but it was just about getting used to the location. It's pretty close to the beaches, particularly Playa de San Lorenzo. Just some minutes walk and you're there! Some reviews say something about the noise. My room was on the second floor, and I slept just fine. I'm not sure if it's any different on the weekend. I also read a review that the drapes weren't good enough to block the sunlight. It worked just fine in my room. I would highly recommend this hotel. It's small and budget-friendly. Totally worth it!
