3 / 5 Excellent room, perfect location, but the spa experience was terrible. It was impossible to enjoy due to the arrival of two couples who didn't follow any of the established rules. They were denounced, harassed, and forced several people to leave the spa. No staff member did anything to remedy the situation, only a warning/slight reprimand. They did charge the full amount and didn't apologize.
1 / 5 The accommodation was quite central and clean, but the service wasn't the friendliest I've ever experienced, and it wasn't great value for the price we paid. The room was large but very noisy due to the street noise, and the bathroom was cramped and old.
*I'm adding a note to the owner's response. No one broke anything on purpose; in fact, we immediately informed him about the window. I don't think a lock breaks just like that, no matter how much you pull on it, as he says. It didn't actually break; it came loose because it was attached to the window frame with white silicone. I took a picture of it for this very reason. But don't worry, we apologize again if that makes you feel better.
*Signed, a person with superpowers who can pry open locks that can hold kilos.
1 / 5 Read the user reviews carefully before booking and then decide. I won't return, nor do I recommend it. The location isn't worth paying €85/night in August, even for the price. The furniture, especially in the bathroom, is rusty and broken, too deteriorated. It's on the first floor on a busy street, with no privacy and a lot of noise. There's only one hairdryer for all guests (you'll have to go out and ask reception for it and wait for it to be free).
The only employee I saw sometimes seems friendly, but at the slightest hint of irritation, she becomes irritated and is curt and argumentative. In fact, I'm sure she's the same one who responds to reviews, with arrogance and without accepting substantiated criticism. She reveals personal details of guests during their stay, unprofessional.
Take a good look at the photos, and what you'll find will be worse.
I don't understand this hotel category and the star rating. Invest in the expensive amount you charge, update the facilities, and be professional. I'm not criticizing your house, I'm appreciating an experience.
(I'm not allowed to post it without giving it a star, but it doesn't deserve it.)
1 / 5 We're very unhappy for two reasons:
- We booked two rooms with six beds between them, but a roommate couldn't make it at the last minute. The bed was still free, so we paid for it anyway. However, one night, one of our partners came, and we offered him the option to stay in the free, paid-for bed. The owner refused because she didn't feel like changing the check-in information, leaving our roommate without a hotel until the wee hours of the night. What a lack of empathy and shamelessness! She had no problem checking the guy who didn't show up even though he wasn't there, but leaving someone without a room didn't bother her conscience.
IN RESPONSE to the owner's response in this post: it's better not to fabricate stories; making things up to defend yourself seems pathetic to me. There was an empty bed until the last day, so don't make up stories about someone who didn't know who came to occupy it. What a lie. The empty bed was actually the one next to me, unless a ghost came! The guy who came, we didn't try to 'sneak' such an accusation into us. It's also pure fiction. The first thing we did was come to him to ask if he could use the empty bed, even paying again, but when you don't want to work... In short, five of the six beds were used, and a friend was denied entry, and now I have to read those lies about us having occupied them all. How unprofessional.
- You have no privacy at all. The owner is always there at the reception desk, day and night (I don't know when she sleeps, to be honest), and you have to leave the keys at the reception desk every time you come in and out. I've never felt so controlled.
2 / 5 Humble place with few luxuries.
Pros: proximity to the beach and cheap prices.
Cons: Unfriendly service, old furniture, questionable cleanliness, and the toilet bowl keeps moving.
If you're going for a bachelor party, you'll have to endure the talk about how it's a family place and they don't want any trouble, even if you're being formal.
