A real gem, very spacious and modern room in a very old building. Jacuzzi is big enough for 2 adults but a large bath would have been just fine (and in my opinion better suited for the setting) The bed was huge, bathroom clean and well maintained. Breakfast is delivered the day before and has a good variety of drinks (milk, juice, coffee and tea) some breads and toast. All in all this is a great place to stay.

Modern, stylish, sparking clean, large comfortable double bed, Jacuzzis in every suite: what's not to like? Excellent facilities in a great location for the town. All done by key code for the door. We never saw the owners while there. Mildly let down by lack of instruction, Eg where & when to go for included breakfast. Had microwave, but no utensils or tea/coffee making facilities. Kids loved playing in Jacuzzi. Recommended.

More than we expected!

Everything was perfect. The room is large and the bed very comfortable. The jacuzzi is amazing, and there's also a bathroom with a shower. We booked with breakfast included (which, by the way, was very varied and plentiful, and you could enjoy it in your room at any time). There's no physical reception, but contact via phone or WhatsApp is excellent. 100% recommended.

We're regulars at Akla Mérida and Akla Badajoz, and comparing this one... Well, let me start. There's no reception, you can't park in town, so you have to leave your car wherever you need to go. They gave us a room in the attic (it only has six rooms, two per floor), and you can hear absolutely everything. In the other two rooms we know, silence is the norm. The jacuzzi was dirty; the showerhead was even moldy and black, and only one of the four radiators was working. We had a problem, and they took a while to respond. However, once we contacted them, they were very friendly, although the person who helped us had to do some research because they didn't know the answer. When we returned to the room, surprise, there was no heating—wonderful. It took them over an hour to come. They had to move us to another room, which was cleaner. Breakfast is served in the room, and you prepare it yourself. Also, the upstairs shower wasn't particularly clean, and the downstairs shower was slippery. We'll return to the town, but not to this hotel.
