From the very beginning, there were problems even with payment. They only accepted cash, Bizum (a Spanish mobile payment service), or card (for €1250). They wouldn't let us make a bank transfer, even though we had already paid €500 in advance. Their solution was to shorten our vacation even before we received the keys. The next day, we complained about the cold and dampness in the house... with children staying there... and their solution was for us to find another place. There was only one dishcloth for the entire house with 7 occupants for 10 days, and one towel per person. Hand towels were shared by two people. There was a washing machine, but the climate wasn't suitable for drying clothes. The mattresses were terrible, except for two that seemed new. The kitchenware was minimal. And the sofa, if you can call it that, was only big enough for 3 people when the house sleeps 8. The gardens were better. The pond was so stagnant you couldn't even see the fish...
I wouldn't go back. After spending a week there without many amenities, he accuses me of stealing some bathmats. This is unbelievable. He's made my day. What a bad experience.
We enjoyed our stay. Very well located in a quiet area. Quiet. Clean. Excellent service. Common areas in good condition. Ideal for families.
We enjoyed a wonderful weekend. Large, two-bedroom apartment, clean, comfortable, and close to Santillana. We've been back and will continue to do so.
