We rented 3 cabins. They were all new and were equipped properly. The staff provided extra blankets when we asked. The location is a walking distance from Santillana del mar and there's a lupa supermarket 2 minutes walk from the camping. Only thing was when we asked for some assistance with calling our car rental company, the staff was reluctant to help and basically said 'manage on your own'. The cabins are new and clean but very small and you can hear your neighbour walking in the twin cabin. Washing and drying facilities are good
This camp doesn't provide heated water in ladies showers. In man's showers the heated water is possible but not reliable. Camp is not well kept and not very clean. Kids like the swimming pool and the nearby historical town is beautiful.
Worst camping I have ever been. No hot water!!! How do you clean your dishes with cold water? Shower water is not cold but neither hot, you can not regulate the temperature, like in the public gym. The smell is similar to a public shower as well, if you have a sensible nose you will suffer. From the beginning I was disappointed by the receptionist and things didn't get better. No BBQ place nor a cooking corner, nothing. They asked for a steep price of 120€ per night for a pile of nothing. Do not go there if you have a choice . Clean the dishes that they give you because they are dirty, like the fridge and you get a used wash spoon. Unbelievable. They claim to have WiFi but it's a lie.
We only stayed there one night in our motorhome. It is an easy walk into Santillana but that is the only positive I can think of. We were in many sites in Northern Spain over our 3 week touring and this was the most expensive at €45 for one night and worst value. No hot water in the washrooms and many of the pitches had electric points that were not working. Not recommended.
Few campervan spaces and all water-logged. They can’t help the weather but could improve surfaces. The site generally didn’t feel cared for. Overgrown vegetation and litter not picked up. Toilets block good and cleaned regularly (but some users need educating!). Restaurant not atmospheric but fine with a good breakfast.
