Exceptional place! Milagros makes you feel right at home. We stayed in a quadruple room and were very comfortable (everything was spotless). Every morning she prepared breakfast for us and was attentive to every little detail. The children had a wonderful time. It's a 5-minute walk to the village and very close to must-see places if you're visiting Cantabria (San Vicente de la Barquera, Comillas, etc.). 100% recommended.
Milagros is fantastic! The best host. Super friendly, kind, and very caring. We only stayed one night, but we grew very fond of her. She made us a homemade breakfast with cow's milk and cheese that she makes, and it was delicious. The accommodation is located in a beautiful location, just minutes from Santillana. I'm giving it 5 stars because it doesn't let you give 10. Highly recommended!
As always, a lovely woman. Everything is clean and very welcoming. She makes you feel wonderful. This is our 7th visit and we're always delighted. The cheeses are luxurious and the milk is spectacular. I recommend it 100%.
A beautiful rural house in a wonderful, peaceful setting, with beautiful views and just a few minutes' walk from the center of Santilla del Mar. Spacious and comfortable rooms, very clean, and well-heated. It has a well-equipped shared kitchen with plenty of tableware. The price includes breakfast, which consists of fresh milk from their cows, homemade cheese, and typical regional armpits—all delicious. If you add the conversations with Mila, it's a 10/10. This is the second time my family and I have stayed here, and we are especially delighted with Mila's care and attention. My children will never forget their time there with their cows, dogs, cats... they really enjoy it. We hope to return soon, Mila and family.
Another year, another fantastic holiday at Casa Milagros. A house surrounded by countryside and little animals that keep you company during your stay. Waking up and opening the windows is the best gift: the birds singing and the breathtaking views of the meadows. And that's not all! Mila makes us delicious sobaos (a type of sponge cake) and muffins, accompanied by a good café con leche (coffee with milk from her cows). Attentive and friendly service.
