The kindness of "Vega" (I don't know if that's the owner's name) was a 10/10. It's a house with several suite rooms. Ours was tiny, but not bad for one or two nights. However, the beds, for my taste, weren't very comfortable. The mattress itself was small, measuring 1.35 meters, and there was only one pillow instead of two, and it was quite hard. And since they're rooms in a house, there's no soundproofing, and you can hear everything that's happening outside the room. It also doesn't have any food and beverage service. I missed perhaps an area in the common areas with a microwave or coffee maker, something so I could at least have breakfast. You can park inside, which is great, because where it's located, which is about a 15-minute walk from Santillana del Mar, there wasn't, or at least I didn't see, any parking.
We spent four days in Cantabria, one of which was here. Without a doubt, it was the best day of our stay, and booking this accommodation was a great decision. From its proximity to Santillana del Mar (just a ten-minute walk away) to the last detail of the room, everything was perfect. The family who runs the place was incredibly welcoming and attentive. They gave us tips on what to visit, where to eat, which beaches to go to, and so on. They were always very friendly and helpful. We arrived before check-in time, and they stored our luggage without any problem. They even called us as soon as our room was ready. The smell of the facilities and rooms is amazing, not to mention the cleanliness—every corner was spotless. We will definitely be back.

The daily cleaning is outstanding; they leave everything spotless. The location is perfect—you can walk to Santillana as it's very close. It's truly wonderful to find places like this!
A very cozy place with a charming terrace and beautiful views, located next to Santillana del Mar and close to the beaches. The ladies who run it are lovely and gave us great recommendations for enjoying the weekend, both in terms of plans and restaurants.
Perfect location, excellent service. The rooms are clean and fairly soundproofed. The mattress might be a bit firm, but overall everything was great, perfect for a visit to the north. There are plenty of feline friends around :)
