The hotel was very old, and was more like a hostel. No elevators and it was impossible to call the reception. I had so much troubles sleeping because the room next door had their TV on passed 2am and the walls are so poor that I could literally hear every single word. I had to go and look for the personal by myself at that hour to complain. Beds were ok but the bathroom was outdated. I would not recommend to people like me, who needs a clean hotel and a good night sleep in a private environment

It was such a treat to stay in this hotel for such a reasonable rate. The building, furniture, rugs and paintings all so interesting. And the room was a good size, clean and with balcony. Helpful staff and safe place for our bikes.

Fabulous hotel in an excellent location, just on the entrance to the very pretty village, and less than 100 meters from a pay and display car park. All the staff we met were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Our room was spotlessly clean, the pillows and bed were very comfortable. The hotel is very grand, everywhere you look there is something interesting to see. We had a buffet breakfast, an excellent choice was offered, we're vegetarians, but there was so much for us to choose from. We were sorry our stay was only for one night, we'll definitely return, and next time we'll stay longer.

Cute place, great location. The owner is on it and they make a great Spanish omelet. I didn’t love the breakfast buffet. I think there’s room for improvement there, but overall a nice little spot. We got a lot of use each evening sitting in the front with a glass of wine people watching.

The facade moved from a previous location 50 plus years ago, by the current owners grandfather. The pictures etc were collected by the grandmother. An eclectic mix. Staff were friendly, but disorganised. Dinner was buffet style, and served in the basement, reached by many steps. No lift...!! Food served was tasty with a choice of meats, pasta and salad. Breakfast was chaos. Due to be served at 7.30. No chef, and no member of staff either. Breakfast finally served at 8.15. All cold foods, no one available to operate the hot plate. Food offered was nice and tasty. There had been a minor incident that required first aid, dealt with by another guest. No member staff available, so no first aid kit.
