Quietly located just out of town - short walk down the side road was very pleasant in the evening. We could not fault the hotel itself - nice building, good beds and bathroom. The pool is very nice but needs attention as a couple of the edge stones are loose and very unsafe. Breakfast was the big letdown - you are given baskets of bread and fruit and plates of cheese and ham. The ham on our weekdays came straight out of a supermarket packet with the one type of cheese no better. A simple help yourself buffet with better products would be far better and less wasteful - unless they are reserving the large amounts of returned food! Sorry Hotel Siglo XVIII - we loved our stay - especially the lovely lady on weekday reception. We intend coming again and would ask that you consider improvement to the breakfast. Please get the pool edging repaired!
