Phenomenal value for money, and the hosts were charming. We stayed for a week in August and couldn't have been more delighted with the proximity and tranquility. The apartment was very clean and well-connected. 100% recommended, we'll definitely be back!
We stayed the last week of August and the experience was truly wonderful, like staying at your aunt's house or something. The apartment was spotless (and I'm very particular), the shower curtains were new, all the beds and pillows had pristine white covers, and the owner was very friendly without being overbearing. The house is well located, just 2 minutes from Santillana, and parking is easy... fantastic. We could barely hear the cars in our apartment, which is why I was hesitant to go there, but oh well, it's normal. The beds were comfortable and the sofa was decent too. The children slept very well, and one night their father said he slept well as well too. It's perfect for families with children; they have plenty of space to run around. We had breakfast and lunch outside, which was great. There are cows and sheep behind us, and ponies and horses across the road! If I had to offer constructive criticism, we would have liked more hooks in the bathroom. There were four of us, and we needed more for the bath towels... but overall, it's a 10/10 for value for money.
For me, it's the most beautiful house in the area. Josefa is an excellent host, very kind and welcoming, and she was attentive to our every need throughout our stay. The apartment is quite nice, and the outdoor areas are very pleasant. There's quite a bit of traffic on the main road, and you can hear it a little in the house.
I went there for 8 days with my family. The apartment has everything, the family who owns the house are lovely. As for the location of the house, although it's right next to the road, you don't hear as many cars as you might think. From Santillana, you can visit many towns without the distances being so long.
Very clean apartments. We had a very comfortable and peaceful stay this vacation. The location is unbeatable. You can easily walk to the old town, and there's also a supermarket and a very good butcher shop just a four-minute walk away if you don't want to move your car. On the other hand, you have the road right outside your door so you can take it for a spin and explore wherever you want. Highly recommended
