5 / 5 A cozy place, decorated in a Castilian style. Although it's in the main square, it's a quiet spot, and it was adorned with Christmas decorations and lots of Christmas lights.
We had the traditional Lebaniego stew.
5 / 5 Last night I had dinner with my family at the Parador, and I want to highlight the kindness with which Lucas, the waiter, treated us, making our stay very pleasant. My children were delighted with him.
1 / 5 I can't speak highly of the Santillana Parador as a hotel or restaurant, which are certainly magnificent, but I can speak highly of having a coffee and a beer on its interior terrace. "Coffee," so to speak, because it couldn't be worse. I'm a coffee lover and I enjoy good coffee, and apparently, nothing is worse than the coffee at the paradors. And it's not cheap, of course.
1 / 5 The location and terrace are fantastic, but unfortunately the coffee quality is terrible. It's brewed coffee, with an unpleasant taste, at the price of specialty coffee (€2.75). Awful.
4 / 5 During our trip on the Renfe tourist train 'Costa Verde Express', we were taken to eat at the Parador de Santillana. The food was delicious, although the service wasn't the best we've had on the trip, nor was the wine pairing. However, nothing detracted from the pleasant surroundings, the building itself, and the flavor of the various dishes we were served.
