1 / 5 Very disappointing. I saw on booking.com the price was 125 euros for a triple room, for 1 night. On the Hosteria's website the rate was 100 euros. I contacted the owner to reserve directly with him. He does not speak any English, only Spanish. It was very difficult to communicate. He told me the price was 120 euros and I had to share my credit card information with him by email. I did not want to, I've had a lot of issues with my credit card information being stolen, so I asked if instead I could pay on booking.com (thinking it would only be 5 euros more). He put the room back on booking.com but now it was at 140 euros. This seemed really unfair to me. I asked why the price had changed from 125 euros on booking.com (before I contacted him), to now 140 euros. He pretended he did not know why. Finally, we agreed that I could pay for the room upon arrival, for 120 euros. Then, 3 days later, he sends another email to say that he has canceled the reservation because I never confirmed... when I had... very frustrating experience.
1 / 5 Small clausrophobic rooms.
The owner does not speak a word of ENglish and is very unhelpul.
Reserved because of the rating in booking which is baseless.
Very disappointing!
5 / 5 Nice, clean place close to everything, but not right in old town at a good price
5 / 5 A 10-star apartment, fully equipped, clean, and with extras to make our stay easier. It was truly a good idea to stay there. Thanks also to Antonio, who was attentive, helpful, and charming. He provided us with all kinds of tourist information that was extremely useful. We will definitely come back!
5 / 5 We had a wonderful four days. The hostel was fantastic. Miguel Ángel is a great guy, attentive and friendly, and he gave us great advice on what to see, where to eat, and where to shop. If we return to Santillana, we would definitely stay at his hostel again. Thank you so much for everything, and best wishes.
