Hotel ciudad de lugo

We arrived late, and had to WhatsApp our passports to a number remotely to get in which was quite a hassle. The rooms were somewhat dated but generally clean. No kettle or hot water available in the room and no spoons or stirrers provided to make drinks either. Breakfast buffet was decent with Tortillas, Empanadas, cold cuts and cheese with some fruits. The coffee which is made fresh on order was good.

Big apartment style hotel with a suite of rooms. Friendly service. About 12 minutes walk to the centre.Showers with good pressure and lots of hot water. Not very comfortable beds.

Budget hotel but nice and clean. You can choose to park in the garage for €6 or there’s some outdoor parking available if you’re lucky. The rooms were a bit cold because the apartment is tiled, however, there is a radiator that you can turn on and off. The kitchenette is perfect if you want to cook something, with a mini fridge too. The bathroom was clean and comfortable. The living room furniture was a bit old and the restaurant food was quite budget. The hotel is a 10 minute stroll to the main city area. Dog friendly apartment too.

Perfect location not expensive when you make a booking on the right time but very bad and unreliable WiFi in the apartment. The reception personal are variably friendly. Big difference who is in charge. We stayed four days in one of the apartments. The kitchen utensils are poor. We had to ask for more. Danger!! All emergency exit's on all floors where blocked with old furniture and cleaning carts. Shame you!!!

This honest-to-goodness hotel is clean , tidy and great value. The breakfast is superb. Staff in all areas were great and English was spoken well. It's a short walk to town. Lugo itself is a bit of a let-down. Although it boasts a complete Roman wall to walk round, the buildings both inside and out are unsympathetically at odds with the historic location.
