Stopped in for breakfast yesterday on the Camino, and there’s a really cool Italian dude there who makes wax stamps for pilgrims for a donation! Also the cafe con leche I got from the bar was the best I’ve had on trail so far. If it doesn’t work out to spend the night here, at least stop in and say hello! Good down-to-earth vibes here all around✌🏻

I stayed here on my fourth night of the Camino starting from Burgos (Sunday 14 September). The host Nazareno was very hospitable and they cooked a great meal. Very good vibes all round.
We made it to Bercianos del Real Camino! A huge thank you to my beautiful Camino friend Giuly, who owns a charming hostal-albergue in Moratinos — and gifted me and my German pilgrim friend a private room, plus an amazing Italian dinner & breakfast. Her place is set in a peaceful little village along the Camino de Santiago, nestled in the beautiful green mesetas — the setting is absolutely stunning. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere so warm and welcoming. With spacious gardens, a sun terrace, and a cozy lounge filled with books, it’s the perfect place to rest and recharge. There’s even a hot tub available from November to March! Giuly and her Italian team go above and beyond to help pilgrims, offering tips on local activities and making everyone feel at home. No surprise — the place is always sold out! Just 6 km from the A-231 and about an hour from León and Palencia, it’s a true gem on the Camino. So grateful for the kindness, the comfort, and the unforgettable experience.
Great host and very hospitable! Had some food allergies and he really tried to cater to that. Had a great stay!
This was the best stop on the Camino thus far. The atmosphere was amazing! The owner Nazareno was the best. The pilgrim dinner was a blast and the food was amazing. The rooms were super clean and the beds were very comfortable. Great outdoor seating area and a wonderful breakfast. Highly recommend!! Ten stars!
