El Castillo de Moratinos

Wing HK The accommodation was very comfortable, and the host was exceptionally thoughtful. He had already prepared coffee, milk, fruit, and bread, and for us, giving pilgrims the strength to start the day. Which is truly rare and heartwarming.

We stayed in a private double room with shared bath for €36. The owner greeted us so warmly. This place is super clean and includes free breakfast and use of washer. For dinner, we went down the street to Bodega El Castillo restaurant, same owner as hostel. During our two week Camino, this cafe had the best food and service. First of all, they were open for dinner at 6:00, rather than 7 or 8. We had the menu of the day which included an outstanding soup and pork ribs. Not only was the server extremely nice, the price of the dinner was really inexpensive. Highly recommend El Castillo de Moratinos hostel as well as their restaurant.

One of the better private rooms we had and also one of the cheapest. The owner is lovely. There was free breakfast and free use of a washing machine and detergent. The owner also has a restaurant down the street where we had one of our best pilgrim meals in 2 weeks. Would definitely recommend.

What a beautiful house. Very quiet. Nice and large rooms. Great sleeping quality. Beautiful bath and am shower. Fully equipped kitchen with washing machine. Lovely garden. The owner extremely nice and helpful. Wonderful stay one night of the Camino.

My personal nightmare afte a 30km hike. I had a reservation on booking com but no staff was there. Only thing I saw was a naked man. Couldn’t find out what my room should have been, so I left and stayed at another place. They did not refund me. So yeah. For me it is 1*
