I had an excellent experience when I stayed at this hotel. It is located close to the bus station and the city centre. My room was very clean, comfortable and quiet. The reception staff were all extremely pleasant and helpful. Andrea, in particular, was outstanding! I will return.

Smaller relative of the Eurostars Gran Hotel in Lugo, the Exe is friendly, comfortable and good value for money. Our party of 7 stayed on December 25th and we were all upgraded which was lovely. The glass fronted rooms are very large with twin beds and Aircon units. Free water and panettone was a nice touch and toiletries good quality. My only negative in the room was the amount of condensation on the windows in the morning. A problem throughout Galicia where hotels seem unable to ventilate rooms properly. The buffet breakfast was good. Less options than the Gran but a much cosier atmosphere and the staff member was just lovely. There was yoghurt, fruits, cereals, breads, marmalades, cheeses and meats, baked goods and our friend was given gluten free bread and cakes which was a bonus. All the reception staff were so friendly and all spoke good English, not necessarily usual in Lugo. No on site parking but street parking is possible nearby if you are lucky (or it's Christmas day). Only a five minute stroll to San Pedro gate and the city centre. Recommended.
For the price quality ratio, an excellent choice! The reception desk service was helpful and kind. The breakfast buffet was fine for the price of 10 euros! The breakfast lady was kind and helpful.
The hotel is super close to the Lugo bus station (about a minute). About 5 minutes walk to the old town. There are bakeries, restaurants, and convenient stores, self-service laundry room, etc nearby. The room is very clean, bright, and modern. Even comes with a water kettle. The price is very reasonable and the hotel staff is very helpful and polite. This is a 5 star experience. Highly recommended!
