We stayed at this hotel with our students for Erasmus. We are very satisfied with everything. Hotel staff is very helpful.Cleaning in room is very nice.
Disappointing stay. Unfortunately, the room was very noisy and not clean, which made it hard to get any rest. The bathroom looked relatively new but had no shelves, which wasn’t practical. The self-check-in worked well, but overall it didn’t feel worth the price. I wouldn’t choose this place again.
The self check-in worked really well, I had my doubts but it was surprisingly smooth. Only I was focused on the key card and forgot to watch the room number so had to call after to obtain it 🙈 it was great to have cold water in the lobby. The room was comfortable, not new but very clean, matches the star level. The location is a bit depressing, didn't feel 100% safe as a solo traveller but also didn't see anything to give justification for it, it was a feeling based on the old, not well-kept buildings. They're pet-friendly, which is great.
I stayed here for a night in Ferrol to begin my journey for Camino Ingles. Though it’s in the center of Ferrol it’s 2-3km from the port or the starting point of Camino. The room is comfortable with private toilet. I stayed during summer and they don’t have AC in the room, so I kept the window open. Overall, it’s good value for money.
Two of us Stayed at the Hotel Silva on the first night of our Camino Ingles. The rooms were clean, and the breakfast was more than enough to set us up for the 30 km walk to Pontedueme. We were met by Mario, who has really helpful and drew us a map of where we needed to go to start the walk the next morning. If you pay for dinner included, the hotel has a deal with a restaurant down the street "La Mallorca", and that's where you will eat. Nice welcome there with generous portions. The only slight issue is that the hotel is about a 30 minute walk from the official start of the Camino in the port of Ferrol, so you will end up going back on yourself through some of the more historic neighbourhoods. For us this wasn't a problem, although we did feel those extra few kms by the end of the day!
